Bobby Moss & Tim Bennett

Bobby Moss was widowed in 2017 when his husband Terry was injured in a motorcycle accident while they were traveling abroad. This was just 7 months after they were legally wed on their 30th anniversary. Through rebuilding and reimagining his life, he proved that he could survive the loss but also came to believe that it was necessary to thrive again. Being open to a different future ultimately led him to an online exchange with a witty and kind man who happened to be on a motorcycle trip nearby. Tim Bennett was looking for a partner to share his adventures with in life and following many texts, phone calls, and video chats, they agreed to meet for the Memorial Day weekend in 2019 and have been together since.
Bobby serves as a regional co-leader for the Soaring Spirits LGBTQ virtual group and has presented at multiple Camp Widows. Professionally he is a Strategic Program Manager for a Fortune 100 IT company. Tim is a Lieutenant Paramedic with the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department.
