Carolyn Jenkins

Carolyn Jenkins, MS, has been been widowed since 2016. She has been volunteering as a Regional Group Leader for Soaring Spirits International since 2018. She is currently the Regional Group Leader Volunteer Coordinator - West.

Outside of SSI, Carolyn has a Masters Degree in Developmental Disabilities, and has been a Special Education Teacher for nearly 30 years. She has worked with students with many different types and levels of need, and specializes in working with kids with neurodiversity, such as ADHD and ASD. Carolyn was diagnosed with ADHD as an older adult, and has enjoyed learning how ADHD impacts various aspects of her life. She has 2 kids, 2 cats, and 2 dogs.
