Laurie Zymowski

I am retired from the NYS Dept of Corrections where I worked in Ordering and Vouchering for the facility. My husband Greg also worked there as a Correctional Officer. Greg died in August 2016 of a massive heart attack. I took early retirement as it was difficult both emotionally and mentally to work at the facility and no longer see Greg there.
I am the proud mom of 3 sons: Jeremy, Scott and Chris. My sons are all married now with families of their own. I am a blessed grandma of 6 healthy grandchildren, 2 granddaughters and 4 grandsons (2 are identical twins). My grandchildren keep me busy with babysitting, sleepovers and special outings.
I am a Regional Leader in the Buffalo, NY Southtowns. I have led the group for 5 years. Aside from our monthly meetings we stay very active with extra events and activities. You will often find me at one of these events.
I live alone with my crazy chocolate lab, Ally. We enjoy regular visits from family, friends and the grandkids. I have started traveling and am looking forward to more cruises and relaxing at all - inclusive resorts in a warm tropical location.
