Suza Hranilovic

Suza/Sue Hranilovic (pronouns she/her/hers) is a seasoned queer widow of 12 years, an “old nurse” of
35 years, and a newer nurse practitioner of 13 years. Her 13 year relationship ended abruptly when her
spouse Cee died in 2012. Her loves include being near bodies ofwater, as well as her clinical practice,
which centres on the care of transgender and gender diverse folk and getting the privilege of witnessing
them live authentic lives. She feels very lucky to share her life with her partner (and official family
barbecuer) Ange, two boisterous Bernese Mountain dogs and a rotund cat, Cheney.
