Camp Widow® is an amazing and one-of-a-kind experience! This inspiring program is here to help widowed individuals rebuild their lives with practical tools and resources backed by research. We host a weekend event in Toronto and also offer Camp Widow® one day events across the United States and in several international locations, all organized by Soaring Spirits International.
Camp Widow® is a perfect mix of a conference, a heartwarming retreat, and a reunion with wonderful friends. Each camper can tailor their weekend to suit their needs, depending on where they are in their healing journey, what areas they want to focus on, and the self-care they need while working through the emotions of grief.
The resources and information we provide are essential, but what truly sets Camp Widow apart is the incredible in-person community it fosters. Widowed individuals from across the country—and the world—come together to share their journeys and connect with others who understand. It’s a powerful experience filled with camaraderie and support.
You might think these gatherings would feel somber, but the truth is far from it! Surrounded by peers who understand and support one another, campers find the mood to be hopeful, uplifting, and full of positivity. It’s a space where healing truly begins!
