Ever wonder how everything runs so smoothly at Camp Widow? As the Camp Widow Director of Operations, Kassia is responsible for making sure the stage is set for our programming and all the plans for Camp Widow are put into action. We rely on her ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage competing deadlines.

In preparation for Camp, she works with the hotel/venue on the layout, room set-up and AV needs, as well as assigning room sessions, and making meal selections for the weekend. This also involves planning for guest services at Camp, and working closely with various Team members to ensure a smooth event.

Kassia has the important task of keeping us all on budget and has an active role in budget development and management, identifying opportunities for cost-savings and revenue generation, and ensuring financial goals are met without compromising the quality of the event.

As one of the lead members of the Camp Team, she is involved in every aspect of programming and planning and works with the committee to ensure everything is ready for our Campers. We couldn’t host Camp without her!
