Ambassadors are helpers; always on the lookout for people needing assistance or a little support at Camp. Laurie Zymowski has been the Ambassador Coordinator for SSC for several years. She ensures the Ambassador Program offers the peer support that makes Camp Widow a welcoming and safe space. A dedicated volunteer, Laurie leads the program, recruiting and training ambassadors, and providing support and direction at Camp.

As the Ambassador Coordinator, you’ll find Laurie hosting the Thursday evening social event at Camp. She is there to welcome new campers, help ambassadors interact with campers, facilitate introductions and conversations, and answer questions about Camp.  We are so grateful for her energy and dedication she brings to Camp Widow and Soaring Spirits Canada.
