As a registered charity, Soaring Spirits Canada is careful to track every dollar donated to helping widowed people. Nancy McGregor supports the Board’s Treasurer in maintaining financial records, accounting entries, reporting requirements and record keeping. She ensures we are in compliance with the controls set by the Treasurer and Board of Directors, maintains accounting records and assists with record and reporting requirements for Canadian charities.

Nancy found Soaring Spirits 8 years ago shortly after her husband Mark was killed. Attending numerous Camp Widow events and being part of a regional group, the friendships she made with other widows provided the hope and encouragement to carry on. She is happy to provide support to this wonderful organization.
