Cindy Lang

Professionally, Cindy has been a Registered Social Worker since 2013. Her experience includes serving as an Ontological Coach through the University of Calgary, and leading grief and loss workshops through Wellspring Calgary, where for the last four years she has supported those impacted by cancer or have been diagnosed with a life limiting disease. Cindy also has over 14 years of co-facilitating grief & loss groups, with an expertise in spousal loss. Her professional development courses focus on bereavement, palliative grief support and grief teaching. Personally, Cindy was widowed in 2005 with her young son when her husband Mike died unexpectedly from a pedal bike accident on a city path in Calgary, Alberta Canada. After Cindy’s own initial healing, she began helping others by giving back to the spousal community within Canada, eventually founding her own grief and loss coaching practice.
