I'm from Frederick, Maryland. We have two grown children, two adorable golden retrievers and one jerk of a cat. My husband Mark was a big personality and naturally funny. He died on September 27, 2020 from a massive heart attack while we were away at the beach with friends for the weekend. I returned to my job teaching preschool two weeks after his death. In teaching, I began to "find myself" again, but despite that, I really missed laughing. Eventually, I found myself going to comedy shows and eventually ended up on the stage microphone in hand doing my own stand up routine. It's been a fun strange ride, but its mine. What will yours be?
