This workshop will explore some of the challenges associated with complicated grief, including loneliness and isolation. We will talk about the role of emotions (e.g. anger, relief, shame, guilt) and how to experience these emotions with less judgment and self-criticism. Self compassion will be explored as a mechanism for helping us to free ourselves of some of the burdens we carry. Self compassion examples will be explored to equip you with tools to begin practicing self compassion.
